Yakubu Nma Usman hailS from Lavun Local Government of Niger state, Nigeria. He’s from the 2003 set and he currently resides in Abuja. He is the Media and Publicity II at the National Exco level of Police Secondary School Minna Old Student Association, Assistant secretary Abuja Chapter and also the 2003 set representative of Police Secondary School Minna. Yakubu Usman attended Umbrella Nursery and Primary School Ajegunle Lagos before proceeding to obtain His secondary school certificate and WAEC from Police secondary school Minna.
He also holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja, MSc Security and Strategic Studies from Nasarawa State University.
He holds a certification in Health, Safety and Environment from British International Safety Organization among others.
Yakubu Nma Usman worked with Sterling Asset management Lagos as the Business Development manager, this experience afforded him skills in research writing and proposal presentation as well as leadership skills, then later with Leadway Pensure Lagos before relocating to Abuja where he later worked with Cititrust group as Relationship Manager.
This has afforded him an excellent opportunity to research the latest financial policies as it affects his client’s investment. He currently manages and runs “Yaks Apparels” a company specialized in footwear production and accessories.
Yakubu also specialise in the real estate sector, working as a sales representative for M&U Builder in Abuja Nigeria.
Yakubu spent one-year volunteering as a Counselor for the Institute of Human Virology of Nigeria, where he helped people living with HIV/AIDS, by providing for them the nearest government facilities to receive free treatment, he also tested over 5,000 people for HIV, after which they were referred accordingly.
Yakubu Nma Usman is currently happily married; he loves reading, researching and learning.
