Aishatu Sambo was a 1997 set. She holds a BA Mass Communication from University of Maiduguri, Borno State Nigeria, M. Sc International Relations from Nasarawa State University Keffi and currently running a Ph.D in International Studies fro Nigeria Defence Academy.
Aisha had served as Technical Assistant on Communications, Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDGs, Executive Officer to late Senator Kawu Peto, National Assembly Abuja.
Currently, She is a Research Fellow at the Center for Research and Studies National Defence College Abuja. Aisha is an expert in issues of Security Sector Governance, Strategic Communications, Gender and Non State Actors. This is reflected in several of her publications. She has attended several trainings and held several appointments in various committees. Acting in the capacity of Welfare Executive of PSSMOSA, She married with children and her hobbies include writing, travelling and reading.
